Lead Generation via webcasts predicted to grow in 2005
Bitpipe released a new study entitled, "2005 IT Marketing Trends Study Results." The survey of 317 technology companies found that almost 66% of companies surveyed plan to invest more on lead generation in 2005 verses 2004. According to the study, 74% of technology companies are using webinars/webcasts for lead generation and are planning to increase their use.
The Web Seminarian also comments on the study and points out that, "Webcasts fall behind e-mail (88%) and white papers (86%) as a lead generation tool, but they are clearly a fully mature marketing technique for this group."
